So I was sitting here thinking back over all my fun and zany experiences in the dating scene here in Atlanta.. and let's just say that this train of thought made for an interesting way to pass the time as I attempted to learn to work my DVR and set it to record my favorite shows.
I realized that not only am I not technically proficient or electronically savvy, but I also seem to lack the savoir faire that is needed to navigate this minefield called the Gay Atlanta Dating Scene.. I seem to hearken back to a simpler and more romantic time when men actually courted each other and went out on real dates not "chilled" at each other's houses and if we did manage to end up at one another's domiciles it was strictly to watch a movie and also after at least the 3rd date.
To my surprise and consternation.. social mores have seemed to change... What used to be be dinner and a movie for a first date, is now.. "come over to my house and lets have hot sex on the living room floor"
Has every man turned into a whore in this new millennium? Are the true romantics like myself, as out of date as a samsung VCR?

No you are not. You've just got to let men know that you are not participating in the big game of kickball. You've got your own game of checkers going on and if they'd like to play with you, they are just going to have to play checkers...and some may try it just to get next to you, but their true intentions always show.
ReplyDeletejust remember you have a lot more power in this thing than you think. The key is to really showing just how good your package is and how you what most think is a large sacrifice to be with you, seem pointless and doesnt matter bc they have you overall.
Youve got the power. EXERCISE IT!
