A FEW THINGS THAT I FIND DELICIOUSLY DIVINE IN 2009.

So, here are a few things that I absolutely CANNOT exist without. Since they are my new favorite things, I figured that I would share them with you.. try some of them.. We think you will like them too ....

1. Hollywood Wives - This deliciously Divine piece of art was written by the Divine Jackie Collins. I discovered this book as a junior in High school. It changed my life. You get a glimpse into the lives of the elite group of Hollywood wives who lunch,shop,workout,and get groomed for a living.. I had the pleasure of meeting the author last year so this book is VERY SPECIAL to me. Get a copy.. You wont be sorry! ITS DELISH!
   


2. COACH HERITAGE STRIPE MINI SKINNY - This little Divine GEM I discovered about 5 years ago initially, but due to always being on the GO (parties,lunches,dinners& the like) these days**ATL is a busy place for the social** and also not wanting to mar my silhouette with the bulge of a wallet in my back pocket, and I always lose my wallet but never my keys..I turned to this lovely delish morsel. It's heaven. It clips to your keys,holds your license,debit card,even a bit of cash(which i NEVER carry).I have this in the "brass/khaki/mahogany" combo pictured at the right.. YUM..DIVINE! Speed to your nearest coach.. if your town is FAB enough to have one that is.
   


3. Darphin Intral Redness Relief Soothing Serum - This Divine little chestnut was introduced to me this year by a former Spa Sydell employee who I befriended. It's a God send.. I cannot tell you enough about this magic potion in a bottle It reduces redness almost upon contact, and if your visage is showing signs of wear and tear from attending non stop parties then waking up at 6 for work (as I DO) this elixir will soothe the skin leaving you with a dewy even complexion. LOVE LOVE LOVE this.. Get yours ASAP. Google it if you don't know.
   


4. The Ultimate Phyllis Hyman - I have always been a fan of this Divine singer. After years of having only other pieces of her work I decided to complete my collection with this tantalizing tidbit in the Phyl Hyman catalogue. There is one tune in particular that I adore and subsequently catapulted this disc to the deliciously Divine list. It is #10 on the album entitled "The Love Too Good To Last" Written by Burt Bacharach,Carole Bayer Sager, and Peter Allen(Burt and Carole are 2 of my fave songwriters) this SONG is simply WONDERFUL. Divine. Pick up your copy of this must have..TODAY.
   


5. Ocean Spray Light Cranberry Juice - This is the Divine kiss of life. There is no other way to describe this brew..First off with 2/3 fewer calories, carbs and sugar than it's sister...if you are watching your figure..AS I AM... this is DELITE in a bottle. She is the first thing that I reach for when the morning light hits my flat. And I sip her all through out the day. I love her so that I carry her in my bag to the office daily and on my desk she sits perched at the ready. I'm sure any supermarket.. even those in the God forsaken reaches of rural America will have this. You simply must try it!
   


6. Dexatrim Max Complex- Well!! I can only say that these MAGIC tablets honestly are little capsules of DIVINE weight loss power. It was love at first swallow. These dolls completely massacre the appetite. Upon popping them, I found that I had only a passing desire to eat at all. Hours would dance by without so much as a passing craving. Energy GALORE I had thanks to these dolls. And to boot...the pounds literally fell off in a matter of DAYS. WHO wouldn't worship and adore?? Now there is an alternative that is just as effective for maintaining that high school figure.. but how many of you can really afford to do coke? And then there's those pesky nosebleeds that come along with snorting.. I say DIVINE DEXXYS are the way to go.. Get them! Steal them if you have to!

7. BASIC BLACK VEE NECK TEE - Fabulously DIVINE is the only way that I can describe this men's take on the Little Black Dress. This wardrobe staple is EVERYTHING TO me. It is perfect for any social outing if you must be photo ready in a flash. Throw this on with jeans, and the right shoes and you are ready for a night of dancing,drinking,and being seen. It works so well for me. I cannot tell you how many nights I have reached for this in a mad dash to make it to the functions. With this piece, simplicity is the key. A great pair of mid sized studs and a BOLD watch..You are done. At last count.. I own 25 of these.. in varying sizes.I suggest..no I IMPLORE you...get yours asap.. Of course I do need to give this disclaimer..You will NOT look like me in it.. So don't expect miracles.. But You CAN always aspire to greatness. We all SHOULD. The black vee neck tee...DIVINE

8. Attending The Function ALONE - This is something that I have discovered of late. This simply IS the height of Divinity! To walk into the function alone..It gives you a certain air. You know that all eyes really are on YOU. You can dance til you sweat to whatever songs you like and...U always get to pick up all the dishy FUN boys. :-) Also you can stroll up to the DJ booth (as i love to do, and watch the scene below,and dance without being shoved or touched by the mere mortals.) As is pictured to the right.. Diana is the only non DJ in the DJ booth at Studio 54 notice the beer bottles and shot glasses littering the area. Clearly she is having a GOOD time. This is why I LOVE to attend the function SANS companion. I like appearing with my sidekick too, but nothing touches the DIVINE magic of functioning SOLO. Try it for yourself.I declare..its DIVINE.

9. Relaxing On a Sunday Afternoon - This has got to be a very special Divine blessing especially from our Lord and Saviour God made just for us to savor and enjoy. Because so much of my life is GO GO.. I exist for this day..just to rest... not comb my hair,not be "ON" and just be to me. Lying in my bed, reading a book and soaking up the silence. Sunday's have got to be among the most splendid things that we as people can possibly enjoy...after Sex and shopping of course. I would even venture to say that in my world...right after money...Sunday's are just as important. LOVE LOVE LOVE them.. They too are HEAVENLY DIVINE... If you haven't caught on.. say a prayer,,and ask how to enjoy the DIVINE closing day of the weekend.

10. H & M- Oh how DIVINE is thee... This store is a trip out of this galaxy. I will never be able to stress how superbly splenderific this store is. I will admit that I do not favor their jeans. But for everything else in between...work attire included.. This place is THEE haven for hip and happening pieces... and yes the prices are for the mere mortal. So if you are a minimum wager.. you too can look stylish. And lastly and probably most importantly for me, there is this one cutie that works there... Wow he jumps my pony.. makes shopping that much more DIVINE.. Don't have an H&M where you are?? Well then maybe you need to move!

Well I do so hope that you will try the at least some of the things on this list. They mean so much to ME... But I must include this disclaimer...The items on this list WILL NOT give you my life..but maybe just maybe if you try them.. You too can aspire..And after all isn't that what it's all about???
