If I Focus On Negative Things....Then They Will Persist..

Doesn't Miss Ross look as though she is BLOCKING OUT something,... or attempting to ward something off in this shot?   Seemed absolutely perfect and almost tailor made for this episode. I want to take this time to speak to you all about NEAGATIVITY and the power behind our thoughts and words. I received some troubling news about an hour or so ago regarding the firing of a few employees at the company that books me daily and  pays my appearence fees :-). I was saddened to hear that 3 people lost their jobs at all, but especially coming on the proverbial eve of the holiday season. My heart immediately went out to each of them. While commiserating with my colleague about the over all terror of the situation, I immediately did what I always do and offered "Well let's hope that the dust has settled, and we can move on with life now"  to which she countered " I have a feeling 'THEIR' on a roll".  I promptly shot back "I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO FEED INTO THAT. IT'S DONE NOW. AND TIME TO MOVE ON.   P E R I O D!"

From there another colleague proceeded to deliver the news of the professional demise of the unlucky 3. When I went on to try to inject some positivity into the conversation and advise her that thank God it was not an occurence in our particular area, she decides NOW is the time to infuse her brand of "reality" IE NEGATIVITY into our tete a tete by saying "Yeah but you never know what else 'THEY' have in store" Well I just fought back with a simple "STOP BEING SO NEAGTIVE" and of course she replies that the dark and dooming thoughts that she spewed forth were the reality of the situation and  that I did not want to face reality. hmmmmmm

I believe absolutely in my heart of hearts that this is where fear and failure begin..with NEGATIVE THOUGHTS AND negative people. I know absolutely 100% that if you concentrate on negative things then they will persist. You have to surrond yourself with and bring positivity to you all day EVERY DAY. If you do not then you will become exactly the thing that you fear most. There is a passage in the Bible that says something along the lines of "that which I fear most is upon me now" ( And by the way JaYLuv was seriously paraphrasing on that little morsel from the Good Book)  but this particular passage speaks to walking in FEAR instead of FAITH and BELIEF..and it tells us that if we dwell upon or put all our energy into the failure and bad outcomes of life...then we surely will cause these very things that we fear to manifest themselves and come home to roost.  These are the tenets by which I choose to live my life.  If I had not believed that I could be...No..that I WOULD be what I am today.. the person that I am today.. I would have NEVER amounted to much. I certainly did not have any of the tools available to me to become someone remarkable..other than my belief in myself, God, and my OPTIMISM. I could've stayed where I was.  You believe that you will fall on your face.... and....YOU WILL.  This particular message was one that was literally bubbling inside me to share with each of you. I feel at this moment in time as I write this, that I am merely the vehicle for this prophecy that is coming from somewhere else almost.. for i feel posessed as i write these words.

Dearest hearts I say to you EMPHATICALLY... dare to be a cockeyed OPTIMIST. Be positive to the point of making others feel uncomfortable. Sing your song of happines to yourself each and every day..walk in the light.. Step in the sunshine. Believe in yourself and all that you do... and know that only good things are destined to come your way. Absolutely believe with all that you are that you will triumph and when someone comes to you with their so called realities that involve ANY NEGATIVES... Appropriate Miss Ross's stance in the snapshot above.. BLOCK THEM OUT..WARD THEM OFF..for your very survival depends on this... Love and blessings to each of you!
